Can't see a module or "You don't have access"

There are two reasons a part of NizamOS may be missing or locked: your organization's plan doesn't include it, or your role doesn't allow it.

The plan doesn't include it#

What each plan includes:

• Free — Mosque TV, People, divisions, roles and in-app notifications.
• Core — adds Programs, Committees, Volunteers, Volunteer Requests, Madrasa, Resources, Needs Attention, online payments, and email and SMS.
• Complete — adds Bookings and Facilities.

How it looks:

• Admins still see the section in the sidebar with a small plan label, such as Core. Opening it shows a page explaining which plan includes it, with See plans and upgrade.
• Everyone else doesn't see sections their organization's plan doesn't include. If they open a link to one, the page says "Ask an administrator of your organization to upgrade."
• An action above your plan says, for example, "Committees is part of the NizamOS Core plan. An administrator can upgrade in Settings → Plan & Billing. Nothing you already have is deleted."

To fix it, an administrator upgrades in Organization settings → Plan & Billing. See Change, upgrade or cancel your plan. Nothing is deleted while a feature is above your plan; it comes back as it was.

Your role doesn't allow it#

• Mosque TV, Organization settings, Facilities and the Madrasa admin screens are shown only to Organization Admins and Super Admins.
• Opening an admin page without the role shows "You don't have access to this page" and who manages it.
• Some actions are for one role only. For example, only a Super Admin can grant the Super Admin role or NizamOS Support Access, and only an admin can choose Run automation or Run checks.
• Committee and program screens let their lead and admins make changes. Others see a note such as "Only the committee lead or an organization admin can change the members."

To fix it, ask an administrator to give you the right role. See Roles and permissions.

Other things to check#

• Wrong organization? If you belong to more than one, check the organization name at the top of the sidebar. See Sign in and switch organizations.
• Just got a new role? Return to the NizamOS tab or reload the page to see the change.
• "Internal access unavailable"? You aren't connected to anything in the organization's main workspace yet. See Can't sign in or didn't receive the email.
• Notifications missing from the sidebar? On the Free plan there is no Notifications section; use the bell's View all notifications instead.
