What is Mosque TV?

Mosque TV turns any TV in your mosque into a live prayer-times board. It shows today's Adhan and Iqamah times, a countdown to the next Iqamah, Jumu'ah times, the Hijri and Gregorian dates, sunrise and sunset, and a rotation of your announcements and posters. Mosque TV is managed by Organization Admins and Super Admins.

Mosque TV is included on every NizamOS plan, including Free.

Where to find it#

In NizamOS, open Mosque TV in the Administration section of the menu. The page has six tabs:

• Prayer Schedule: see or edit the prayer times for any date, and open Prayer Setup.
• Jumu'ah Times: the Friday services shown on the display.
• Announcements & Posters: the slides that rotate on the screen, plus the Bottom Ticker.
• TV Screens: pair TVs, name them and choose what each one shows.
• TV Settings: turn the display on, get your TV code and link, choose a theme, add your logo and set timings.
• Website Widget: put your prayer times on your own website.

What the screen shows#

• The Prayer Board, the resting screen, with the five daily prayers, the next Iqamah and your mosque name.
• Your announcements and posters, one after another, between Prayer Board views.
• Focus and High Focus screens with a large countdown as the Iqamah gets close.
• An Iqamah screen at Iqamah time, asking people to straighten the rows and silence their phones.

A screen can also be set to the Prayer Display, a large timetable for the prayer hall that never shows posters. See Prayer Display mode.

How changes reach the TV#

Every TV checks for changes about once a minute. When you edit a prayer time, add a poster or change a theme, open screens update by themselves within about a minute. You never need to pair a TV again after a change.
