On this page

Jumu'ah times are the Friday services shown on Mosque TV and on your website widget. You can have one service or several (for example 1st and 2nd Jumu'ah). Organization Admins and Super Admins manage them on Mosque TV → Jumu'ah Times.

Add a Jumu'ah service#

  1. Open Mosque TV → Jumu'ah Times.
  2. Choose Add Jumu'ah.
  3. Enter a Name, such as "1st Jumu'ah".
  4. Enter the Khutbah time and the Iqamah time. The Iqamah can't be before the Khutbah.
  5. Choose Add Jumu'ah.

Repeat for each service. Use the arrows to change the order, the pencil to edit, and Deactivate to hide a service without deleting it.

What the screen does on Fridays#

On a Friday, no screen counts down to Dhuhr or to a Jumu'ah service. This is one rule for every mosque and every screen: the Main Mosque TV, the Prayer Display and the countdown badge on slides.

  • The Focus and High Focus screens are skipped for Friday Dhuhr and Jumu'ah, and the normal rotation of the Prayer Board and slides continues.
  • The clock, the timetable and your Jumu'ah times stay on screen as usual.
  • The Iqamah screen still appears at the Jumu'ah Iqamah time.
  • All other prayers on Friday (Fajr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) keep their normal countdown and Focus screens.
  • On Saturday, Dhuhr has its normal countdown again.

Good to know#

  • Jumu'ah times are the same every Friday. To change them, edit the service; the change reaches open screens within about a minute.
  • Only active services are shown.
  • On a Prayer Display, Jumu'ah times show when Jumu'ah times is ticked for that screen.
  • In the website widget, Jumu'ah is one of the parts you can turn on or off under Show.
