Add announcements and posters to Mosque TV

Announcements and posters are the slides that rotate on the Main Mosque TV between views of the Prayer Board, in the order you set. Organization Admins and Super Admins manage them on Mosque TV → Announcements & Posters.

Add a poster#

1. Choose Add Poster.
2. Enter a Title. It is used to identify the poster in NizamOS and is not printed over your artwork.
3. Under Poster image, choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MB. 1920 × 1080 (16:9 landscape) works best.
4. Set Seconds on screen, or leave the default.
5. Optionally add a QR code link (starting with http:// or https://) and a QR code caption such as "Donate now".
6. Choose Display on: All screens or Selected screens.
7. Keep Active on the display ticked and choose Add to rotation.

Add an announcement#

Choose Add Announcement and enter a Title and the Announcement text (up to 600 characters). The other options are the same as for a poster.

Schedule, reorder and switch off#

• Advanced: only show during a date range lets you set Start showing and Stop showing. Leave both blank to show the slide until you deactivate it.
• Use the up and down arrows to change the order.
• Deactivate takes a slide off the screen but keeps it saved; Activate brings it back.
• The bin icon deletes a slide for good. A poster's image is removed too.

Plan limits#

Your plan sets how many slides can be switched on at the same time: 15 on Free, 50 on Core and 100 on Complete. Only announcements and posters count; prayer times, countdowns, the ticker and your logo do not. A slide that is switched off, or whose end date has passed, does not count. When you reach the limit, switch one off (it stays saved), or an administrator can upgrade in Settings → Plan & Billing. Poster images also count toward your plan's storage.

Good to know#

• Posters are shown exactly as uploaded, never cropped or recoloured. An image that is not 16:9 (for example a portrait flyer) is shown whole with plain space beside it.
• Large images are resized for TV screens automatically before upload. If an image is still too big after resizing, NizamOS asks you to save it as a JPEG of 1920 × 1080 and try again.
• Seconds on screen can be 3 to 120 seconds. The default comes from TV Settings.
• Titles can be up to 120 characters and QR captions up to 60.
• Slides pause during the Focus and Iqamah screens before each prayer, and never show on a Prayer Display.
