Share a session registration link

A session registration link lets anyone sign up for one specific session, such as a seminar night or a one-off workshop, without signing in. Organization Admins and the program's Program Lead can set it up. Registration can be Off, Free or Paid. This article covers free registration. For paid registration, see Take payment for a session.

Turn on free registration#

1. Open Programs, open the program, then open the session.
2. Find Session registration.
3. Select Free. A registration link appears.
4. Copy it with the copy icon, or use Copy Link in the Registration Link card near the top of the session page.
5. Select Open Registration Page to see what visitors will see.

What visitors see#

The registration page shows your organization's name, the program, the session title, the date and time in your organization's timezone, the location and the description. Visitors enter their First name, Last name, Email and Phone. They need at least an email or a phone number. Then they select Register and see You're registered!

Where registrants appear#

• Each registrant appears on the session's Mark attendance list, marked Guest, with a Free registration tag.
• A registrant belongs to that one session only. They are not added to the program's members.
• Admins get an in-app notification for each new registration.
• If the email or phone matches someone already in People, that existing record is used.

Turn registration off#

Select Off in Session registration. The link stops accepting registrations. People who already registered stay on the session.

Good to know#

• Each session has its own link. A recurring program needs a link per session.
• Registering twice with the same details shows You're already registered! and doesn't create a second registration.
• Programs are part of the Core plan and above.

Troubleshooting#

If a visitor sees "This link isn't available", registration was turned off for the session. See A public link isn't working.
