Assign Zeffy forms and campaigns

Once Zeffy is connected, Organization settings → Payments lists every form and campaign in your Zeffy account under Zeffy forms / campaigns. You decide what each one means in NizamOS. A form left Unassigned is ignored: its payments never count as Madrasa fees or registrations.

Assign a form#

1. In Organization settings → Payments, scroll to Zeffy forms / campaigns.
2. Select Change (or Add / change) next to a form.
3. Choose what it is used for, Madrasa Fees or Program / Session (see below). For a session, choose the Session.
4. Paste the form's Public form link if NizamOS doesn't have it yet. In Zeffy: Campaigns → ⋯ → Share → Copy link.
5. Select Save.

The choices are:

• Madrasa Fees — payments are applied to the paying family's oldest unpaid Madrasa fee. One form per organization.
• Program / Session — takes the registration fee for a paid session.
• Unassigned — visible in the list, ignored by NizamOS.

For a session, also set it to Paid on its own session page, at the same price as the Zeffy form. You can pick the session's Zeffy form from the session page too. See Take payment for a session registration.

Rules NizamOS follows#

• A form is used for one kind of payment only. To move it from Madrasa Fees to a session, or the other way, set it to Unassigned first.
• A donation-style form serves one session at a time.
• A Zeffy ticketing campaign can be shared by several sessions. Each session is linked to its own date on the campaign, and each date can be used by only one session. Payments are matched by the date the payer bought on Zeffy, never by guessing.
• You can't release a form while a scheduled paid session is still taking payments on it.

Payments needing a session#

If a payment on a shared ticketing campaign doesn't match exactly one session's date, it appears under Payments needing a session. Choose the session it paid for and select Attribute. Only sessions using that same form are offered.

Status badges#

• Madrasa Fees or Program / Session — what the form is assigned to.
• Unassigned — ignored by NizamOS.
• Ticketing — a Zeffy ticketing campaign that can be shared by date.
• Not in Zeffy — NizamOS still has an assignment, but Zeffy no longer lists the form.

Good to know#

• Assignments can be saved before Zeffy is your provider. They take effect once you choose Zeffy.
• Event Ticketing, Membership and Facility Booking are listed as coming soon and can't be chosen yet.
• If NizamOS can't load your forms from Zeffy, it shows a notice. This is usually temporary. Select Try again.
