Install the NizamOS TV app

The NizamOS TV app shows your mosque's prayer times, Jumu'ah and announcements on the prayer hall screen. Install it on the TV device, then connect it to your mosque from the NizamOS admin portal. Pairing needs an Organization Admin or Super Admin.

Amazon Fire TV (recommended)#

NizamOS TV is live on the Amazon Appstore for supported Fire TV devices. No extra settings are needed.

1. On the Fire TV, open Find or Search.
2. Search for NizamOS TV.
3. Select NizamOS TV in the Amazon Appstore results.
4. Select Get, Download or Install, whichever is shown.
5. Open NizamOS TV. It shows a pairing code on the screen.
6. Pair it — see the steps below.

Other Android TV boxes (APK)#

For compatible Android-based TV boxes, use the official NizamOS APK. No computer or cables are needed. Compatibility can vary by Android version and hardware.

1. On the TV box, open its web browser.
2. Go to nizamos.ca/download.
3. Select Download APK.
4. If Android asks for permission to install apps from that browser or file manager, allow it for that source.
5. Open the downloaded file and select Install.
6. Open NizamOS TV and pair it — see below.

Google TV and Android TV (Google Play)#

A Google Play listing is coming soon. Until it is released, use the APK above or open Mosque TV in the TV's web browser (Open Mosque TV in a web browser).

Pair the TV#

1. On a phone or computer, sign in to the NizamOS admin portal at app.nizamos.ca.
2. Go to Mosque TV → TV Screens → Pair a TV.
3. Enter the code shown on the TV, give the TV a name (such as "Main hall") and select Pair TV.
4. On the TV, confirm your mosque's name. It connects and shows your mosque's content.

Updating the APK later#

Download the newer APK from nizamos.ca/download and install it over the existing app.
