Upload your own prayer timetable
Use your mosque's own Adhan and Iqamah times instead of calculated ones, by importing a spreadsheet or entering days by hand.
If your mosque already publishes its own timetable, you can use it instead of calculated times. You provide each date's Adhan and Iqamah, and NizamOS calculates only sunrise and sunset from your location. Organization Admins and Super Admins set this up.
Switch to your own schedule#
- Open Mosque TV → Prayer Setup.
- Choose Use my custom prayer schedule.
- If you were using calculated times, choose Switch to custom prayer schedule, then confirm. Calculated times are removed from today onward; past dates are kept, and so are your location, method and Iqamah rules in case you switch back.
- In the Mosque location card, save your mosque's location if it isn't saved yet. Sunrise and sunset are calculated from it. Saving it never changes your Adhan or Iqamah times.
Import a spreadsheet#
- Choose Import Schedule.
- Download the CSV Template or Excel Template.
- Fill in one row per date with the columns Date, Fajr Adhan, Fajr Iqamah, Dhuhr Adhan, Dhuhr Iqamah, Asr Adhan, Asr Iqamah, Maghrib Adhan, Maghrib Iqamah, Isha Adhan and Isha Iqamah. Dates use
YYYY-MM-DD. Keep the header row exactly as in the template. - Choose the file (.csv, .xls or .xlsx). NizamOS shows every row before saving, marks dates that will update existing times, and lists rows with problems, which are skipped.
- Choose Import Schedule.
A single month, Ramadan or a whole year is fine. If the file contains past dates, NizamOS asks you to confirm, since that is usually a mistake in the Date column.
Edit or add a day#
- In Prayer Setup, browse your saved dates with Previous, Next, Go to Date or View All. Choose Edit Times to change one date, or Add a Day for a date that has none. Only that date is changed.
- On Mosque TV → Prayer Schedule, pick a date, enter the times and choose Save this day's schedule.
Good to know#
- Each prayer needs both an Adhan and an Iqamah, and the Iqamah can't be before the Adhan.
- A new date needs the mosque location, so sunrise and sunset can be calculated.
- Prayer Setup warns you when no times are entered for today or later. The TV has nothing to show until you import or add them; NizamOS never switches you back to calculated times on its own.
- Keep your schedule at least 30 days ahead, so screens have times to show during an internet outage.
