The Website Widget puts your NizamOS prayer schedule on your own website. Paste the code once, and every change you make to prayer times, Iqamah or Jumu'ah appears there by itself, just like on Mosque TV. Organization Admins and Super Admins set it up on Mosque TV → Website Widget.

Customize and embed the widget#

  1. Open Mosque TV → Website Widget.
  2. Under Theme, choose Light, Dark, Emerald, Modern Blue, Gold or Custom (pick your own accent, background and text colours).
  3. Under Layout, choose Compact (a slim list for a sidebar), Standard (recommended) or Full (a spacious board for a dedicated page).
  4. Under Show, tick the parts you want: mosque name and date, logo, next prayer countdown, Adhan times, Iqamah times, sunrise and Jumu'ah. At least one of Adhan or Iqamah must stay on.
  5. Check the Live preview on Desktop and Phone.
  6. Choose Copy Embed Code.
  7. In your website builder (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and others), add an "HTML" or "Embed code" block, paste the code and publish.

If your builder only asks for a web address, use Copy link under Widget link instead.

Under Public prayer link, choose a short name and Save. People can then open your prayer times at an address ending in /w/ and your name, with no login, from a text, WhatsApp, email or a poster. Names are 3 to 32 characters, using lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Use Edit to change it or Remove to turn it off.

Visitors can add the link to their phone's home screen, where it opens your mosque's prayer page.

Good to know#

  • The widget goes live only while Turn on Mosque TV is ticked on TV Settings. While it's off, the widget says "Prayer times are unavailable right now". The embed code stays the same.
  • Open web pages refresh the times within a few minutes.
  • Your choices of theme, layout and parts are saved in the embed code itself. If you change them, copy the new code and replace the old one.
  • If your website builder removes the script line, the widget still works at a fixed height.
  • The logo appears automatically once you upload one in TV Settings.
  • The widget never shows posters, slides or the ticker.
  • The Hijri date and timezone follow your organization settings. See Set the Hijri date.
