Share files and links in the Resources library
Add PDFs, documents, images, website links and video links to the Resources library, link them to programs or committees, and archive them.
Resources is your organization's shared library of handouts, documents and links. Organization Admins, Program Leads and committee leads can add resources. Everyone signed in can open the ones they are allowed to see. The Resources library is part of the NizamOS Core plan and above.
Add a resource#
- In NizamOS, open Resources in the sidebar.
- Select Add Resource.
- Enter a Title and an optional Description.
- Choose the Resource type: PDF, Document, Image, External Link or Video Link.
- Upload the file, up to 4 MB, or paste the link.
- Optionally choose a Category and a Division.
- Tick the Programs and Committees it belongs to, if any.
- Select Add resource.
Program Leads and committee leads can link a resource only to the programs or committees they lead.
Add a resource from a program#
Open the program and go to its Resources tab. Resources added there are linked to that program, and the tab lists everything shared with it.
Find a resource#
Use the search box and the category, type and status filters on the Resources page. Select the open icon next to a resource to open the file or follow the link.
Edit or archive#
- Select the pencil icon to change the title, description, category, division or links. To replace an uploaded file, archive the resource and add a new one.
- Select Archive to hide a resource from the active list. Choose the Archived filter to find it again and restore it.
Good to know#
- You can edit a resource you uploaded, or one linked to a program or committee you lead. Admins can edit all of them.
- A resource linked only to a committee isn't shown to members outside it. A resource with no program or committee is shown across the organization.
- Uploaded files count toward your plan's storage allowance.
